 ·Mike Honda was one of Three Congressmen who voted NO on the Pledge of Allegiance—against Resolution 459, countering the 9th Circuit ruling.
· Mike Honda voted NO on the Anti-Terrorism Bill (HR-3162) the USA Patriot Act—which provides for collaboration between agencies of national security and increases our ability to get intelligence and to investigate suspected terrorists.
· Mike Honda voted NO the Homeland Security Act (HR-5005), that sets up a Homeland Security Department, uniting counter-terrorism agencies to make Americans safe.
· Mike Honda voted NO on the Economic Stimulus Package (HR 3090) that could have accelerated the recovery of local industries from the recession.·
Mike Honda voted NO on Fast-Track Trade Bill (HR-3005) beneficial to export-driven industries in Silicon Valley.
